“Connection failed” when connecting your store
If you see a connection error when trying to add your store to the app, try the following:
- Check your URL – Make sure it starts with
https://. The app requires a secure connection. - Verify API key permissions – Your WooCommerce API keys must have Read/Write permissions. You can check this in your WordPress dashboard under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API.
- Confirm the REST API is enabled – WooCommerce enables the REST API by default, but a plugin or hosting configuration may have disabled it.
- Test the API in your browser – Visit
https://yourstore.com/wp-json/wc/v3/in a browser. If you see JSON data, the API is working correctly. - Regenerate your API keys – If you recently changed your API keys in WooCommerce, the old ones won’t work. Generate a new pair and enter them in the app.
Your store URL should be your main site address without any trailing path, for example
https://myshop.com.
Not receiving push notifications
Push notifications require both the WordPress plugin and an active subscription. Here’s what to check:
- Is the plugin installed and activated? – In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins and confirm that Woo Manager Push Notifications is active.
- Is the API key entered? – Go to Settings > Woo Manager in WordPress and make sure your API key is filled in.
- Check the subscription status badge – On the same settings page, look at the status indicator. It should be green (Active). If it’s red or yellow, your subscription may need attention.
- Are device notifications enabled? – Open your phone’s Settings app and make sure notifications are turned on for Woo Manager.
- Has your subscription expired? – When your subscription expires, notifications continue for a 7-day grace period. After that, they stop. Simply reopen the app to renew your subscription.
If your subscription expired more than 7 days ago, notifications will not be delivered until you renew. Open the app to restore your subscription.
Orders not loading or showing old data
If your order list seems stuck or empty:
- Pull down to refresh – On the order list screen, swipe down to trigger a manual refresh.
- Check your internet connection – The app needs an active connection to fetch orders from your store.
- Verify your API keys are still valid – In your WordPress dashboard, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API and make sure your keys haven’t been revoked or deleted.
- Reconnect your store – As a last resort, go to Settings in the app, tap Disconnect Store, and reconnect using your API keys.
Disconnecting your store removes your stored credentials from the app. Make sure you have your API keys ready before disconnecting.
WordPress admin not loading in the app
The app includes a built-in browser for accessing your WordPress admin panel. If it’s not loading:
- Check your internet connection – A slow or unstable connection can prevent the page from loading.
- Custom login URL plugins – If you use a plugin like WPS Hide Login to change your login page, the app detects it automatically. Make sure that plugin is working correctly on your site.
- Tap the refresh button – Use the refresh button in the top bar of the admin browser to reload the page.
- Blank page? – Some hosting providers block access from embedded browsers. If you see a blank screen, contact your hosting provider to check if they have any restrictions in place.
Subscription issues
All payments are handled by the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Here’s how to resolve common subscription problems:
- Manage your subscription – In the app, go to Settings > Manage Subscription to be taken directly to your subscription management page.
- Still seeing the paywall after subscribing? – Try closing the app completely and reopening it. The app checks your subscription status on launch.
- Billing questions – Apple and Google handle all payment processing. For refunds, billing disputes, or payment method issues, contact them directly through your device’s app store.
Your subscription renews automatically. If you want to cancel, do so through your device’s App Store or Google Play Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
